It's hump day & I'm in a funny mood!

This is a workout that my mom, my sister and I have been doing off and on for the past 8 years or so. It's called The Body Flex. I know it looks funny (no, hilarious!) and weird, but we love the way that it makes us feel. It actually works to make your tummy flatter and your body tighter... that's if you can get through the workout without laughing so much. I know you're all gonna think I'm crazy, but that's okay... I already know that I am, lol! This workout truly works, but don't take my word for it - try it for yourselves! Click here for more info: The Body Flex Workout

For our enjoyment, someone has added some sound effects to the second video! It's true, while doing these exercises you do let out a lot of air, lol, but it's not THAT bad! Ha-ha-ha!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

No advice for you, but maybe Janice would have some useful advice - she knows a lot about weird stuff like that.

So Lori, you didn't really try it??? The video doesn't show you how to do the proper breathing and how to tighten and suck your stomach in. You need someone like ME to teach you that, lol. I can if you want... I can tell that you want to learn how to do the Body Flex don't you!

This video is totally not a joke! It really, really works. I'm telling you!!!!

I think more than anything, it's the deep breathing that does wonders. I feel sooooo so energetic after I'm finished, and I also have a whole LOT of air that wants to come out. HEHEHE!

MOM... ANGE! Where are you? Help me out here....

Lori are you saying that you think you would pass out because your farts would stink??? (The farts that you usually blame on your kids...)
I don't know if you're "trying" to be funny here... but I don't really get your joke. You need to start joking more often because you're getting a little rusty. HAHAHAHAHAHHA!

you guys are too much.

I have those videos....somewhere! When we were in Yellowknife I saw her in an infomercial or the shopping channel (winter in Yellowknife; what are ya going to do). I even had Brad doing them for a time....

Wonder where those are??

Oh that is hilarious Debbie! Never in a million years could I ever get Aerie to do those exercises with me, ha-ha!

So can you remember if they worked for you and Brad?

I do it twice a day. I just finished my second round. I cough and cough while I am doing them. Not used to breathing in so deeply. He-he...

I do it mostly for the energy I feel from all that deep breathing :)

Good heavens, I don't think I stuck with it long enough for it do work.....I'll hae to dig those things out and giver another go, eh?

I think that would be a great idea. So now when people think I'm nuts 'cause I do Body Flex... I can tell them that Debbie does it too!!!! :) ... and look - she's normal! lol

Hi Trace!

That is funny with the sound effects! I have to back up Tracy and say that Bodyflex works! I definitly lost inches and it does give you lots of energy, but has to be done on an empty stomach in the morning preferably! I love it and i have been doing it every morning for the past 5 weeks! I am the biggest skeptic but I will try anything and I notice a difference even though I can't do it in frontof my kids because they laugh at me! Love you Trace talk to you later. Love Angexo

Ha Ha, Tracey you just did this post so you could picture us all at our houses trying to do these excercises, farting out brains out:( PS I love the body suit on the instructor. I Remember being a kid in the 80'ss when those leotards were in style, with the hips cut up practically to your belly button.

Oh, my.... Never mind the body suit. Check out that hair!!!! What is that???

Fran: You know what's funny? Ange, I hope you don't mind but......... my sister does Body Flex in the nude every morning! Isn't that right, Ange? HE-HE! Just the other day she was trying to convince me to try it in the nude too! I may try it nude one of these days...lol.

You're so funny, Sarah. Honestly, that's not why I posted this (although the thought of that does make me laugh!!). The real reason why I posted this video is because it truly works. I know it sounds dumb and it's funny looking, but it works. This video is like a hidden gem :) hehehe. I'm being serious.
Okay, YES I totally remember wearing those body suits. The periwinkle blue one that I owned had a g-string butt. HAHAHA!

You're right...what is that??? But you have to remember that BIG hair was the style back then. I had big hair in the late 80's too :)

Anyway, I laughed aloud when I read your comment.

Ange:

I hope you don't mind that I said that you did this naked :) Tell us why, Ange.

I just wanted to tell you that I notice that the Body Flex is working for you. I haven't seen you in a few weeks and I can totally tell that you lost weight all around your waist. That's great! You've inspired me to get back on my Body Flex!

Thanks for watching my back, sista.

I love you!

Anyone can do this, Donna. Hmmm, maybe my sister and I should start a Body Flex class at the church. Oh, that would be a sight.

ok, the funniest thing about this video is that it's not a joke on your blog. I am so glad that I logged on tonight becaue I needed a really good laugh and that did it. IT's like something out of saterday night live. What ever happened to doing just plain old crunches. The suit and hair are bad but the faces she makes are hularious.
